Highfield Cricket Clubs senior teams are members of The Liverpool and District Cricket Competition and West Lancashire Sunday League with the junior teams members of the Wigan & District Junior competitions. The beautiful ground and excellent facilities are set within the parish of St. Matthews, Wigan. Highfield CC is a well established club having been founded in 1924 and is recognised by the ECB as one of its "Focus" clubs.

 

The club runs 2 senior teams who play principally on Saturdays, a senior Sunday team and junior teams across five age groups from under 9's to under 18's..

 

Highfield CC has traditional values and has become a focal point for the local community. It is respected as a place where young children can be coached and play cricket in a safe and child friendly environment, and has both achieved and retained Clubmark accreditation. We were also delighted to win Wigan Sports Club of the Year in 2010.
